Mission Statement

Adopt4Life–Ontario’s Association for kin, customary care, and adoptive parents and caregivers, is a community of people with lived experience that strengthens and empowers parents and caregivers to achieve permanency for children so that they reach their full potential. We believe all adoptive, kinship and customary care parents and caregivers have a right to advocacy, support and guidance throughout their lifelong journey.

Support

Our model is based on peer support, with individualized professional support, as the need arises.

Advocacy

We represent adoptive, kin and customary care families’ voices at meetings, and do outreach and awareness work with key stakeholders and decision makers.

Guidance

Adopt4Life creates partnerships with local organizations and agencies to share knowledge and link families with the best possible resources and services. We are stronger together!
