Who is Interwoven Connections

Our new name, Interwoven Connections encapsulates who we are and who we will grow to be. We are a community woven and stitched together through our shared experiences.

Interwoven Connections represents the tapestry of families and relationships formed through adoption, kinship and customary care. We create spaces and experiences where parents and caregivers feel seen and heard. Where they have access trauma sensitive services and supports at every stage of their journey.

In all that we do, we aim to foster and support meaningful and authentic relationships because we believe they are the basis of strong families.

Our new logo represents the intertwining of lives, the overlapping of shared experiences, and the unique strengths of our families. We’re co-creating a tapestry where every member of the family has what they need to grow and belong.

Why We Changed

Over the past ten years Adopt4Life, has created a community of parents and caregivers who have formed their families through adoption, kinship, and customary care. But throughout our journey, we have received feedback that our name has been a barrier for some to participate in our community.

While we've sought to embrace all families working towards long-term / permanent family relationships and connections, including kin, customary care parents and caregivers –it’s time to have a name that reflect this.

We are families with experiences of kinship, customary care, and adoption.
We are Interwoven Connections.
