Support For Parents and Caregivers

Kinship, Customary Care, and adoptive families face unique challenges on their lifelong journey. Our Parent2Parent Support Network encourages parents and caregivers to connect with, learn from, and support one another. Once you are registered, you will be connected with your local Regional Parent Liaison to complete your intake.

What is a Regional Parent Liaison?

A Regional Parent Liaison (RPL) is a person employed by Adopt4Life, who brings lived experience with permanency in families and communities. After you fill out the form below, you will be connected with a Regional Parent Liaison in your area. RPL’s are your go-to for one-to-one support for….

  • Advice on local resources

  • One-on-one support for urgent situations

  • Information about joining our special-focus online support groups

  • Details of our virtual and in-person meet-ups

  • Advocacy (at meetings with school administrators, the Children’s Aid Society, or medical professionals)

  • Buddy and mentor matching

Joining our community is free and enables community parents and caregivers to connect through our confidential Parent2Parent support network. We offer in-person support, advocacy, buddy and mentor matching, online social communities and support groups, and interactive webinars with adoption, kin and customary care experts and families.

What happens after I sign up?

After signing up you will receive a welcome email and some follow-up emails that will tell you a bit more about what is available to you as someone who is part of our network. You will also receive an email from our Intake Coordinator who will connect you with your local Regional Parent Liaison.
